Best Baby Products of 2023

There’s a steep learning curve when you become a new parent, especially when it comes to the ins and outs of baby gear. But do you want to know a secret? The best way to learn about what you and your baby may love (or not) is from experienced parents who have already tried all the things—so you don’t have to.

That’s why we created Babylist’s annual Best Baby Products survey. It’s our chance to spill the tea with the real experts in baby gear: you.

We surveyed Babylist families and asked you to tell us about the baby products you love and why. And tell us you definitely did! This year we heard from 6,000 Babylist families about the gear you’re happy you added to your baby registry (baby carriers, travel systems, a pack-and-play), the items you absolutely cannot live without (the Babybjörn Bouncer, the Doona, revolving car seats) and even a few things you wished you had skipped (that bottle warmer you weren’t sure about and the eighth newborn outfit you registered for at the last minute).

And since you took the time to share, we took the time to organize all the data into an ultimate category-by-category breakdown of your favorites. These are the best baby products of 2023 according to the real experts: Babylist parents.

Strollers

A stroller is one of the most popular—and most utilized—items of baby gear most parents own. Parents shared their favorites across a range of price points and noted the most important features: suspension and maneuverability, easy fold, ability to hold more than one child, basket size, durability and car seat compatibility.

UPPAbaby
The votes are in, and almost 30% of Babylist parents love this stroller’s all-wheel suspension, extra-large storage basket, high-end details and that it expands to accommodate up to three kids.
Mockingbird
High-end features at half the price of the competition make the Mockingbird a standout favorite.
Chicco
Parents love a stroller with a quick, one-handed fold, and this one checks that box—and more.
UPPAbaby
A sized-down (and priced-down) version of the Vista, the Cruz doesn’t expand to hold more than one child, but it’s packed with lux features and stellar suspension.
Doona
This genius infant car seat + stroller hybrid makes new parenthood a lot easier.

Travel and Jogging Strollers

Many of you don’t own more than one stroller (or haven’t had the need for another quite yet), but of those who do, travel and jogging strollers top your list. The travel strollers you love share two essential features: a compact fold and a light weight. As for joggers, it’s all about suspension for a smooth ride over all types of terrain.
